<p>The method involves folding and inserting a set of documents into empty envelopes (22) having preset common format in compliance with specific marking. A set of separator sheets (16A) e.g. self-adhesive paper sheet of A4 format, is folded into preset particular geometrical shape in compliance with another marking e.g. bar code recognition marking. The folding of sheets and folding and inserting of documents are performed such that sheets are interposed automatically between closed envelopes as function of batches to be prepared and the shape resulting projection of the sheets from the format. An independent claim is also included for an envelope-stuffing machine comprising a read unit for reading specific marking borne on separator sheets.</p> |
