<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system capable of letting an owner of a portable machine figure out a cause of inability to operate an operation object device due to battery exhaustion of the portable machine. <P>SOLUTION: The portable machine 3 is provided with a residual battery amount detection circuit 14 for detecting a residual amount of a battery 10a of the portable machine 3. The portable machine 3 obtains the residual amount of the battery 10a based on a residual battery amount detection signal output from the residual battery amount detection circuit 14 and transmits a residual battery amount signal S4 containing the obtained residual amount information of the battery 10a. A security control device 31 provided for a vehicle 2 outputs an informing control signal for informing the residual amount of the battery 10a of the portable machine 3 to an engine switch 5 as an operation device based on the residual amount information of the battery 10a of the portable machine 3 contained in the residual battery amount signal S4, and turns on/off a lighting LED 44a of the engine switch 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
