<p>Machining body for crushing a feed material, comprises a cast carrier matrix (4) as a metal cast body (1), and at least one insertion body (7), which is embedded in the cast carrier matrix. The insertion body increases the wear resistance of a functional- or wear surface (2) of the machining body. The insertion body is a pressing- or sintered body of a mixture of metal powder and hard material or a die-cast body comprising a hard material in a die cast matrix made of die cast metal, or comprises a body in a composite. Independent claims are also included for: (1) the insertion body for the machining body; (2) producing the machining body for crushing material, comprising (a) producing at least one insertion body by at least pressing, preferably isostatic pressing of a mixture of metal powder and hard material, or by die casting of the die cast metal as the die cast matrix, which at least partially surrounds the hard material, (b) arranging at least one insertion body into a cast mold, and (c) casting the cast mold with a wear-resistant iron-based alloy, preferably a wear-resistant cast iron, so that the iron-based alloy at least partially surrounds at least one insertion body; and (3) repairing the machining body comprising welding a welding material on the functional- or wear surface of the machining body, where the welding material comprises at least one metal and the hard material.</p> |
