TRANSMISSION LINE TRANSFORMER WITH MINIMIZED POWER LOSS

PURPOSE: A transmission line transformer with minimized power loss is provided to prevent the influence of parasitic resistance components in a transformer by additionally forming a metal wire under an uppermost metal wire. CONSTITUTION: A first uppermost metal wire(502) forms the first side of a transmission line transformer. A second uppermost metal wire(503) forms the second side of the transmission line transformer. A third metal wire(504) under the first uppermost metal wire forms the first side of the transmission line transformer. The width of the metal wire under the uppermost metal wire is narrower than the width of the first uppermost metal wire. The first uppermost metal wire is in electric connection with the metal wire under the first uppermost metal wire through vias. A fourth metal wire(505) under the second uppermost metal wire forms the second side of the transmission line.
