In a nuclear reactor moderator brick 11a the projection 19 fits within the groove 20 of the upper brick 11b. Relative angular movement of the bricks is accommodated by the curved surfaces, 24, of 19, Fig. 2. The surfaces 24 meet the plane surface 22 at the parallel straight edges 23 above which the blocks may rotate. The intersticial bricks 13a, 13b, Fig. 3, have a similar supporting face 28 on tile 25. |
