PURPOSE: A grinding system is provided to prevent wave patterns from being formed on the surface of a workpiece by contacting a grinding stone with the workpiece using the weight of a grinding device and removing repulsion due to the rotation of the grinding stone. CONSTITUTION: A grinding system comprises a bed(10), an upward pressing grinder(50), and a reciprocating unit(30). The bed supports a workpiece(1) to be rotated. Pressing the workpiece from the upper part due to self-weight, the upward pressing grinder grinds the workpiece by rotating the lower end of a grinding stone. The reciprocating unit reciprocates the grinding device along the longitudinal direction of the bed.
