PURPOSE: An apparatus for testing the performance of a linear motor is provided to improve the reliability of testing results by reducing costs and times required for testing operations. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(1) for testing the performance of a linear motor includes a rotor(3), a first linear motor(4), a first reaction part(5), a second linear motor(7), and a second reaction part(8). The rotor is rotatably installed at a supporting frame. The first linear motor generates torque for rotating the rotor. The second linear motor generates loads with respect to the rotation of the rotor in order to set testing conditions with respect to the first linear motor. The first reaction part is installed at the rotor and transfers the torque from the first linear motor to the rotor. The second reaction part is installed at the rotor and transfers the loads from the second linear motor to the rotor. |
