摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A butt-connection structure of an ultralight blank material and a shank material for a micro cutting tool and a method thereof are provided to allow welded portions of an ultralight blank material and a shank material to bear impacts during work in vertical and horizontal directions by welding an inclined projection of the ultralight blank material and a material insertion and joint hole of the shank material to extend a welding sectional area. CONSTITUTION: A butt-connection structure of an ultralight blank material(30) and a shank material(20) for a micro cutting tool is as follows. A material insertion and joint hole is formed in the center of one side of the shank material. A taper hole(22) is formed in the center of the material insertion and joint hole. The ultralight blank material with an inclined projection(31) is fixed to the material insertion and joint hole with an adhesive and a welding method. Flux and silver alloy powder are spread on the ultralight blank material, the ultralight blank material is inserted into the material insertion and joint hole, the ultralight blank material is heated with gas flame and an electric high-frequency electrode, and a protruding portion of the ultralight blank material is pressed, thereby being accurately inserted and fixed to the material insertion and joint hole.</p>
