PURPOSE: A control method of a regenerative hot air dryer is provided to reduce energy consumption through minimizing a heat loss by optically controlling an operation of a hot air dryer. CONSTITUTION: A control method of a regenerative hot air dryer is as follows. An RTO(Regenerative Thermal Oxidation)(20) is operated so that a drying furnace(10) is heated up at a constant temperature. Materials are heated up until the materials of the drying furnace reach a drying set temperature. An emission quantity is controlled by controlling an output of a VOC(Volatile Organic Compounds) blower fan and a hot air circulating blower fan and opening degree of a manual exhaust damper(50) and an auto-mixing damper so that the materials are heated and the VOC is eliminated while maintaining the drying set temperature.
