PURPOSE: A yaw system for a wind power is provided to prevent a decrease in the durability of a yaw brake by removing vibrations and noises caused by frictions, dusts, and foreign materials. CONSTITUTION: A yaw system for a wind power comprises a gear rim(3), a base frame(2), a yaw bearing(4), a yaw drive motor(6), and a yaw brake(10). The gear rim is fixed to a tower. The yaw bearing supports the base frame connected to the gear rim. The yaw drive motor base connected to the base frame is connected to a pinion gear(5) of the gear rim. The yaw brake comprises a yaw brake disc and an electromechanical power generation unit (12). The yaw brake disk is fixed to the gear rim. The electromechanical power generation unit generates brake forces to the yaw brake disc. |
