APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CORRECTING BLOOD GLUCOSE CONCENTRATION

PURPOSE: A blood-sugar density revising apparatus and method are provided to revise blood sugar density by considering volume change of a blood vessel due to pulsating in a non-blood gathering blood sugar measurement system of an optical measurement mode. CONSTITUTION: A PPG signal measurement part(12) measures a PPG signal of a blood vessel of a patient. A pre-processor(14) pre-processes an inputted optical signal. The pre-processor executes background subtraction by using polynomial fitting. An optical signal correction(16) revises the optical signal according to the PPG signal which is measured through the PPG signal measurement part. A blood-sugar density revising part(18) revises blood-sugar density by respectively receiving signal from the optical signal correction and a revising model establishment part(20).
