The invention proposes an apparatus for moving a furniture part which is held in a movable manner on a furniture body, having a drive unit and a control unit and also a sensor device which interacts with the control unit, wherein the movable furniture part can be moved in an opening direction and/or a closing direction in a manner driven relative to the furniture body, wherein the drive unit is coupled to the movable furniture part and drives the movable furniture part when the drive unit is in drive mode. According to the invention, the control unit and the sensor device are designed such that when the apparatus is in the mounted use state, the sensor device identifies an action by an operator on the movable furniture part from the outside as an action with the intention of moving the furniture part in a manner which can be predefined by the operator, and supplies a corresponding sensor signal to the control unit, wherein the drive unit is in drive mode and neither counteracts the force which is applied to the movable furniture part by the operator nor assists this force. |
