The arrangement (1) has a safety switch (2) including sensor inputs (4, 4'), safety outputs (5, 5') and two relays (6, 6'), which stay in active connection with the sensor inputs on a control current side, and with the safety outputs on a load current side. The relays are provided with non-forcibly guided contacts. A monitoring unit (3) includes a microcontroller (7) for monitoring a function of the safety switch.
