In a drum-tedder of the type having a power-driven, tined, drum 9 partly surrounded by a baffle 12, a guide-screen 15 for the discharged crop is pivoted to the rear edge 14 of the baffle and vertical guide-member 23 are pivoted at each side to the rear of the baffle so as to be adjustable about vertical axes to reduce the width of the discharged windrow to less than the working width of the machine. The rear edge of the baffle is defined by a tube 14 to which the screen 15 is fixed, the tube being carried by brackets 13 secured to the end-walls of the baffle. Adjustable struts 18 are connected between the brackets and the outer edge 17 of the screen to control its inclination. The members 23 are hooked at their lower front corners into slots in the brackets 13 and are suspended at intermediate points from rods 28 slidable in clamps 29 secured to the guide-screen. The main frame of the machine is tubular and incorporates a drive from a gearbox 1 to the drum 9. It is mounted on castors 7 and has a drawbar 10 adjustable about a vertical pivot on the gearbox to permit the machine's being drawn at an oblique angle to the axis of the drum.
