摘要 PURPOSE: A metal-deposited photoanode and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to remove difficulty in fixing optical catalyst and the risk of separation of the optical catalyst to a specific support because the tube-type titania optical catalyst is integrally formed in a metal support. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a metal-deposited photoanode comprises the steps of: washing a plate-type titanium metal support(11) and picking the metal support to remove titania of rutile structure from the surface, integrally forming titania optical catalyst into a tube shape on one or both sides of a titanium metal support, heat-treating the titanium metal support, dipping metal for preventing the recombination of electric charge pair in optical absorption into the tubular titania optical catalyst(12) through electrolysis, and reducing the metal(13) while supplying argon-hydrogen mixed gas.
