The present invention relates to a method for preparing a cosmetic composition comprising Acer mono sap as an active ingredient and a cosmetic composition prepared thereby. More specifically, the invention relates to a cosmetic composition which: has no side effects through the use of natural ingredients; ensures excellent permeability and storage properties; and is effective in skin whitening and anti-aging due to high free radical removal abilities and tyrosinase inhibitory activities.
