<p>A protective cover (120) that covers the discharge end (10) of a belt conveyor (40) transporting loose material, such as wood chips, bark or corn. The protective cover (120) is integral, i.e. it covers the discharge end (10) at the sides, from the top and at the end face and it is arranged to be opened out of the way of maintenance of the discharge end.</p>
