A method and device for scheduling queues are provided, which belong to the communications field, and reduce the waste of the storage space and the scheduler. The method for scheduling queues includes: after receiving network services transmitted by a user, a route device queries a preset corresponding relationship list according to the network services and obtains the storage queues corresponding to the network services, wherein the corresponding relationship list includes the corresponding relationship between the network services and the storage queues; the data of the network services is stored into the storage queues corresponding to the network services; the scheduler is assigned to the storage queues, so that the data stored in the storage queues can be transmitted according to the scheduling of the scheduler. The embodiments of the present invention are mainly applied for the route device in the communications system.
