PURPOSE: A dust collecting apparatus is provided to improve the dust collecting efficiency and simultaneously to simplify the whole scale of the apparatus by simplifying a structure for eliminating dust. CONSTITUTION: A space, an air inlet, and an air outlet are formed at a dust collecting case. The air inlet and the air outlet are in connection with the space. A filtering part is installed between the air inlet and the air outlet, dust is attached from the space to the filtering part. A dust eliminating part(400) is composed of a main body(410), a brush(450), and a motor(430). The main body is installed along the peripheral of the filtering part. The brush is rotatably installed on the main body and is in contact with the filtering part. The motor rotates the brush. A moving part(500) is in connection with the main body and moves the main body along the longitudinal direction of the filtering part.
