PURPOSE: A galvannealed steel sheet and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the quality of a galvannealed steel sheet by securing excellent frictional properties and powdering resistance at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A galvannealed steel sheet comprises a plated layer containing 5-20weight% of Fe and 0.2-2 weight% of a metal with higher Gibbs free energy than Fe. The content of the metal from the surface of a plated layer to half the depth of the plated layer is 0.35 weight% or more relative to the total content of the plated layer.
