<p>The method involves applying a plastic matrix (3) in a surface-sectional dosed amount on or below a semi finished fiber part (2). The plastic matrix is selected based on wall strength of a fiber composite component to be manufactured. The semi finished fiber part with the plastic matrix is inserted into a mold half (1) in a press mold (11). A surface of the semi finished fiber part or mold bottom (12) of the mold half is covered with the plastic matrix before closing the press mold. Viscosity of the matrix is adjusted such that the matrix does not flow along directions in the mold half. An independent claim is also included for a device for manufacturing fiber composite components.</p> |
