<p>The system (1) has a plastic processing machine (2) i.e. injection molding machine, and a peripheral device (3) i.e. parts-removal robot, provided with an electrical load (7) e.g. heating element, and electrical drives (4-6) i.e. servomotors, respectively. The peripheral device is connected with an alternating current (AC) network (8) for supplying electrical power. One of the drives is designed for generator operation for conversion of kinetic energy into power. The load of the machine is electrically brought in connection with the generated-based operating drive of the peripheral device. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a system that comprises a plastic processing machine and a peripheral device.</p> |
