SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING CHARGER OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE USING A NETWORK OF AMI SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A system and a method for managing a charging device for an electric vehicle using an advanced metering infrastructure are provided to reduce operating costs by organically combining and managing information about the electric vehicle and the charging device. CONSTITUTION: A watt-hour meter(100a-100n) is connected to a data concentrating device(300) through a wireless communication network and includes a communication unit which transmits and receives data to and from a management server(600) and the data concentrating device. A charging device(200a-200c) transmits charging load information to the watt-hour meter. The charging device transmits the charging load information of an electric vehicle(500a,500b) to the data concentrating device. The data concentrating device determines the load state of a transformer(400) connected to the watt-hour meter and the charging device.
