[Also in Division A5] The invention comprises a compound of the formula wherein R 1 and R 2 are independently C 1 -C 6 alkyl, halogenated (C 1 -C 6 ) alkyl, C 2 -C 4 alkenyl, cycloalkyl phenyl or substituted phenyl in which the substituents are NO 2 , halogen, or C 1 -C 6 alkyl or alkoxy, and R 3 is H, C 1 -C 6 alkyl, cycloalkyl, halogenated (C 1 -C 6 ) alkyl, C 2 -C 4 alkenyl, furyl or benzyl. It may be obtained by reacting an appropriate N-monosubstituted carbamoyloxy substituted-anilide with the appropriate acid anhydride or acid chloride. Examples are given for the preparation of the compounds. They are useful as herbicides, insecticides and animal parasiticides. |
