A procedure consists of preparing the fibre-based material and applying a repositionable adhesive to one of its surfaces to receive an interleaving layer before the material is cut into sections or rolled up. The repositionable adhesive is selected for mechanical properties that are compatible with the matrix to be reinforced without causing pollution, and is applied e.g. by spraying. The procedure consists of preparing the fibre-based material and applying a repositionable adhesive to one of its surfaces to receive an interleaving layer before the material is cut into sections or rolled up. The repositionable adhesive is selected for mechanical properties that are compatible with the matrix to be reinforced without causing pollution, and is applied e.g. by spraying. The adhesive used for the procedure can be, for example, a hot-melt adhesive based on an organic rubber able to withstand a temperature of 115 degrees C, applied to glass fibre reinforcing mat between 0.1 and 10 mm thick and having a density of between 10 and 5000 g/sq m. |
