A harvesting machine and a mill are used in crop fields for harvesting and milling forage. The machine consists in a trailer unit connected to a vehicle or tractor for providing motion to said unit in order to be displaced, and the required motive strength for actuating different mechanisms that harvest, mill and transfer the milled forage to the final storing and/or packaging place. The machine is characterised in that it has a novel system for picking the dried forage and which facilitates the harvesting height adjustment involved in the milling and packaging process of dried forage in crop fields.
