PURPOSE: A video communication method and a device thereof are provided to naturally exchange glances in video communication. CONSTITUTION: A monitor unit(220) is prepared for video communication. The monitor unit repeats the mode change between a video mode and a transparent mode according to a predetermined cycle. A camera unit(210) is located in the rear side of the monitor unit. The camera unit photographs a user image through a screen of the monitor unit.
