摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose acrylate film which is reduced in retardation change dependent on environmental moisture and which, when the film is laminated to obtain a polarizer and the polarizer is allowed to stand in a high-temperature high-humidity atmosphere, can prevent the polarizing element from deteriorating with the lapse of time. <P>SOLUTION: The cellulose acylate film contains a hydrogen-bond-forming compound which satisfies the requirements (A) to (C) and at least one hydrophobizing agent selected from among polyhydric-alcohol ester based hydrophobizing agents, polycondensation ester based hydrophobizing agents, and carbohydrate derivative based hydrophobizing agents. (A) The compound has both a hydrogen-bond donor part and a hydrogen-bond acceptor part in the molecule. (B) The value obtained by dividing the molecular weight by the total number of the hydrogen-bond donor parts and the hydrogen-bond acceptor parts is 30 to 65.
