The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for browsing documents by applying a dynamic threshold value, comprising: a document management module storing a degree of similarity between documents which are input or stored; a similar-document search module searching for a document having a degree of similarity to a reference document greater than a predetermined threshold value by searching the document management module; and a similar-document classification module grouping the searched documents into one group.
