<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus for efficiently stuffing clothing or bedding with lightweight down having excellent insulation properties and a small volume, such as duck down or goose down, and more particularly, to a method and apparatus for automatically stuffing down, in which: an amount of down greater than the amount of down required to fill a target is suctioned from a down storage tank and is stored in a first tank by means of a primary suction device; the down is then suctioned from the first tank to a second tank by means of a secondary suction device; only the surplus down is then discharged through a bypass to the down storage tank by means of a discharge suction device; and the required amount of down left in the second tank is then guided to a down stuffing filler, and can thus be stuffed into a filling target such as clothing or bedding.</p> |
