<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of easily measuring an approximate amount of a nucleic acid to be detected contained in a sample. <P>SOLUTION: A method for quantifying a nucleic acid that uses a microchip A for nucleic acid amplification reaction arranged an inlet 1 through which a liquid is introduced from outside, a plurality of reaction regions 41-49 serving as reaction sites of nucleic amplification reaction, and flow passages 2 and 3 for supplying the solution introduced through the inlet 1 into each of the reaction regions and configured so that the likelihood of the nucleic acid amplification reaction varies in each of the reaction regions, includes: a procedure of executing the nucleic acid amplification reaction by flowing a solution containing a target nucleic acid chain to be detected through the flow passages 2 and 3, and introducing the solution into each of the reaction regions; and a procedure of specifying the reaction regions in which the nucleic acid amplification reaction is generated by detecting an amplification product in each of the reaction regions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
