Hair treating agent comprises (in wt.%, based on the weight of the agent): (a) at least one oil from seeds of cape chestnut (yangu) (0.01); (b) at least a polymeric quaternary ammonium compound (0.1-10); and (c) an aqueous carrier. An independent claim is also included for treating skin and keratin fibers, comprising applying and distributing the above composition on the skin and/or hair, and rinsing with water after a contact time of few seconds to 45 minutes.
