PURPOSE: A multimedia player and a subtitle setting method thereof are provided to enhance the concentration of a user through the continuous play of a moving picture. CONSTITUTION: A storage unit(20) stores one or more moving picture files. An output unit(30) displays video data and subtitle information of the stored moving picture file. An input unit(40) receives a user command to change the setting of the displayed subtitle information. A control unit(10) synchronizes the video data with the subtitle data by the output unit. The control unit controls the play of the moving picture file.
