LANE KEEPING SYSTEM IN VEHICLES USING MAP DATA

PURPOSE: A lane keeping system of a vehicle using map data is provided to obtain information of the driving lane in advance, thereby predicting a road condition. CONSTITUTION: A lane keeping system of a vehicle using map data comprises a GPS (Global Positioning System) receive module(10), a map data module(20), a judgment module(30), and a steering control module(40). The GPS receive module receives information of the location and speed of the vehicle transmitted from the GPS satellite. The map data module collects curvature information of lane and driving lane information. The judgment module determines whether the vehicle presently secedes lane or not by using the location information, the speed information, and the curvature information of lane.
