<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-travelling carrier capable of reliably completing deceleration before the load comes to a curve route, and preventing collapse or derail even though the weight of the load is large or the entire length is long. <P>SOLUTION: The self-traveling carrier is supportively guided by a guide rail GR along a carriage route including a straight route SR and a curve route CR so as to self-travel. The self-traveling carrier includes: a road trolley 2 for supporting a load receiving body; a front trolley 1 positioned in front of the road trolley 2 and connected to the road trolley 2 by a connection rod 11; a rotation detection means 5 for detecting relative rotation around a vertical axis 1A of the front trolley 1 with respect to the connection rod 11; and a control means for decelerating the traveling speed based on the detection signal when the rotation detection means 5 detects the relative rotation around the vertical axis 1A of the front trolley 1 with respect to the connection rod 11 when the front trolley 1 enters the curve route CR from the straight route SR. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
