<p>The method involves conveying amount of air to be supplied to an exhaust gas burner (11) through a motor-driven compressor (16). The air conveyed through the compressor is guided by a Laval nozzle (19) after the burner is pressurized. The compressor is driven or operated with constant power such that pressure at an input side of the Laval nozzle corresponds to approximately one or two times of pressure at an output of the Laval nozzle. The compressor is operated depending on a respective currently connected nozzles cross-sectional area in different performance levels. An independent claim is also included for a device for supplying amount of air to a burner in an exhaust line of a combustion engine.</p> |
