<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible that when image data stored in an externally shared storage device is referred by an information processor, image data for which audit image data is to be created is discriminated from other image data and a list of only the image data for which audit image data is created is reported to the information processor. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 101 records history information in which audit image data is associated with log information in storage means, the audit image data being created when reading a document, and does not create the audit image data for other image data input. Then, when the image data stored in the externally shared storage device is referred from a PC client 102 (S812), an image data list relating to the image data whose history information is recorded in the storage means is created (S814).
