<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of making an operator recognize an insertion state and conscious of execution of work from the operation feeling changed during insertion of a female terminal fitting without using an additional component and capable of preventing the female terminal fitting from imperfectly being inserted without causing an increase in the number of components and the number of assembly processes. <P>SOLUTION: A connector comprises: a flexible band part 26 which links the tip of a lance 23 in a connector housing 21 with a housing front end 21a positioned ahead of an extension direction of the lance 23 and is displaced in a bending manner on a lance bending space 24 side accompanied by bending displacement of the lance 23; and a beam length switching part 27 which abuts on an opposite face 24a of the lance bending space 24 by the bending displacement of the flexible band part 26 and switches one support position of the lance 23 as a both-end support beam to a contact position T1 on the opposite face 24a from the housing front end 21a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
