[Problem] To provide an electrical connection box that uses a metal core substrate that can prevent bending. [Solution] The electrical connection box, which performs power distribution in an automobile, is provided with a metal core substrate (1) that is provided with: a rectangular core metal layer (2) wherein two core metal plates (2a, 2b) are disposed with a slit-shaped gap (3) therebetween; and an insulating layer that fills in the gap (3) and covers the surface of the core metal plates (2a, 2b), thus integrating the core metal plates (2a, 2b). Power from a battery is input to core metal plate (2a), and power from an alternator is input to core metal plate (2b). The gap (3) has: a first linear section (31) that extends linearly from one side of the core metal layer (2); a second linear section (32) that extends linearly from another side of the core metal layer (2), is parallel to the imaginary extended line (P) of the first linear section (31), and does not line up on the same line as the first linear section (31); and a square-U-shaped section (33).
