<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow lithium ions to move more excellently in and out of a positive electrode active material. <P>SOLUTION: A plate-like particle for the positive electrode active material of a lithium secondary battery has a layered rock salt structure. Oriented particles having lithium access surfaces (primary crystal particle having (003)-surface which is oriented so as to cross a plate surface of the plate-like particle) are dispersedly disposed in an aggregate of numerous oriented particles having the (003)-surface (the primary crystal particle having the (003)-surface which is oriented so as to become parallel to the plate surface of the plate-like particle). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
