<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece that has excellent design and allows a user to easily see a day of the week. <P>SOLUTION: A timepiece includes: a day plate which rotates by a predetermined angle every day; and a dial 2 which is placed on the day plate and which has windows 21A to 21D formed therein. The day plate is arranged such that: multiple patterns which can be displayed through the windows 21A to 21D are set; and the number of combinations of the patterns to be displayed in the windows 21A to 21D every time the day plate rotates by the predetermined angle is set to seven. Thus, using such combinations of the patterns to be displayed in the windows 21A to 21D, a day of the week (seven types of days from Monday to Sunday) can be displayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
