The invention describes a method for operating a filling system, which comprises at least one phase of starting up (1) the filling system and a phase of normal operation (2) of the started filling system. The fact that the actual value (M) of at least one parameter (P) that is characteristic of a proper operating state is measured and, in the start-up phase, a different deviation of the actual value from a target value (S, S1) of the parameter is permitted than in the phase of normal operation, means that, during the phase of normal operation, a permissible deviation of the actual value from the desired value can be adapted to the comparatively unstable operating conditions as the system is being started up without having to change the permissible deviation of the actual value from the target value during normal operation or to restrict the control during normal operation. |
