<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a red photosensitive colored composition for a color filter, allowing formation of a red colored pixel layer satisfying demands for a positive value of retardation, high lightness and a high contrast ratio, and to provide a color liquid crystal display device excellent in visibility in an oblique direction, lightness and a contrast ratio by using the red photosensitive colored composition. <P>SOLUTION: The red photosensitive colored composition for a color filter contains a colorant [A], a binder resin [B], a photopolymerizable monomer [C], a photopolymerization initiator [D], and an organic solvent [E]. The colorant [A] contains, in total 100 wt.% of the colorant [A], 5 to 40 wt.% of C.I.Pigment Orange 38, 10 to 80 wt.% C.I.Pigment Red 254 and 10 to 80 wt.% of C.I.Pigment Red 177. A colored pixel layer formed of the above red photosensitive colored composition for a color filter has a retardation value Rth in the thickness direction of 3 to 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
