A lighting device 12 of the present invention comprises a plurality of light source boards 20, and a plurality of point light sources 17 mounted on each of the light source boards 20. The light source boards 20 are arranged parallel to one another at small intervals in a small-interval area 20a and large intervals in a large-interval area 20b.
