The embodiments of the prevent invention provide a synchronization detection method for a Link State Database (LSDB), and a routing device. The synchronization detection method for the LSDB includes: receiving an LSDB synchronization detection message transmitted from an Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) neighbor, wherein the LSDB synchronization detection message includes Link State Advertisement (LSA) abstract information of the routing device which generates said LSDB synchronization detection message; judging whether the LSA abstract information of the routing device which generates said LSDB synchronization detection message is consistent with local LSA abstract information; and when the LSA abstract information in the LSDB synchronization detection message is inconsistent with the local LSA abstract information, informing a network management system. By transmitting LSDB synchronization detection messages among OSPF neighbors, the embodiments of the prevent invention achieve the purpose of detecting the LSDB consistency among OSPF neighbors, and can also achieve the purpose of checking the LSDB consistency inside the network. |
