<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity by preventing the interruption of image forming action, in an image forming device of a tandem structure equipped with a plurality of image forming units. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device of a tandem structure in which a plurality of image forming units are coupled in series, comprises a control portion which calculates the coverage of each page when executing a job composed of a plurality of pages, assigns the page suitable to a predetermined proper condition, on the basis of the calculated coverage of each page, to an image forming unit, and controls the execution of a job by the plurality of the image forming units according to data of the pages respectively assigned to the plurality of the image forming units. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
