<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens which has a thin lens thickness when the zoom lens is collapsed, has a wide angle of view and a high zoom ratio, and can obtain high optical performance all over the zoom range. <P>SOLUTION: In the zoom lens which includes a first lens group having positive refractive power, a second lens group having negative refractive power, a third lens group having positive refractive power and a rear group including one or more lens groups in order from an object side to an image side, and in which the first lens group includes a negative lens and a positive lens, the respective lens groups constituting the first to third lens groups and the rear group are moved when zooming, and the first lens group is moved to the object side and the third lens group is moved to the object side at a telephoto end than at a wide angle end with respect to an imaging plane, the focal distances f1 and f2 of the first and second lens groups and the focal distances fw and ft of the entire system at the telephoto end and the wide angle are appropriately set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
