<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processor for an electronic endoscope which reliably acquires a desired still image in a short time, and also to provide an electronic endoscopic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The processor for an electronic endoscope has first and second image storage means and control means. The control means performs the control using: a first mode for converting image data sequentially into a video signal and outputting the converted signal sequentially storing the image data in the first and second image storage means; a second mode for outputting image data stored in the first image storage means and sequentially storing generated image data in the second image storage means; or a third mode for outputting image data stored in the second image storage means and sequentially storing generated image data in the first image storage means. In the second and third modes, it is possible to switch between a first reproduction mode for continuously outputting the multiple stored image data and a second reproduction mode repeatedly outputting one of the multiple stored image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
