<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner having such a structure that detects the fault of the refuse clogging of a valve or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes an oil separator 2 in a discharge line 11 of compressors 1a and 1b, and valves 5a and 5b in the upstream from capillaries 4a and 4b in the upstream of the compressors 1a and 1b in an oil return line 3 to the compressors 1a and 1b from the oil separator 2. Pressure sensors PHa and PHb are provided between the capillaries 4a and 4b and valves 5a and 5b, and when they continuously detect for a predetermined time that the absolute value of differential pressure between the detected pressure and the compressor suction pressure of the pressure sensors PHa and PHb is a first specified value or lower or that between the detected pressure and the compressor discharge pressure is a second specified value or higher while the valves 5a and 5b are opened, the air conditioner determines that the valves 5a and 5b are in abnormal states. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
