<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a capsule toner, by which a capsule toner having a release agent layer and a resin coating layer successively formed on the surface of a toner base particle in which bleed out of the release agent is prevented and aggregation does not occur, can be produced with superior productivity, and to provide a toner obtained by the method, and a two-component developer containing the toner and a carrier. <P>SOLUTION: The production method of a capsule toner comprises steps of: forming release agent-coated toner particles having a release agent layer comprising release agent particles on the surface of the toner base particle; forming composite toner particles comprising the release agent-coated toner particles and resin fine particles adhering to the surfaces of the toner particles; and forming a capsule toner comprising the release agent-coated toner particles the surface of which are coated with resin fine particles, by subjecting the composite toner particles to a stirring treatment while spraying a volatile liquid to the surfaces of the composite toner particles under the condition of a temperature equal to or lower than the glass transition temperature of the binder resin in the toner base particles and equal to or lower than the on-set temperature of the release agent particles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
